I remember seeing the WIP picture for this one, and was a bit skeptical. I was wondering if it would be able to hold form, and was a tad worried with the way in which it was going. Lemme just say...OOPS stupid me.

I was looking for things that would actually kill the image. This one actually flows without the need of showing a concrete outline to it. The edges are like a fuzzy blur, where it's just strokes of the wolf's fur flowing with its movement. That's what makes it so good, because it shows a nimble quickness of the creature, giving it a good character and emphasis on its agility. On top of that, it is positioned in a way that gives great prominence to its head, where the most imposing features really show. The body shows strength and speed. The face and hands show ferocity and a willingness to tear you to ribbons.

Great lighting as well. I think the green glow on the right is a little too intense, as it conflicts with the yellow on the left, so I dont' know which to consider the focal point. But everything just looks gorgeous anyway.

Wow, I had to really enlarge this bad dog. This is actually a nice & unexpected change from the fine females I've seen popping up out of you lately. The painter-ly-ness of it is very nice. The thing I catch right off the bat with the enlarged version is the face of this monster is the only thing that's really defined, everything else is still loose and sort of blurry. I'm not feeling that greenish lighting on him though, unless it's from an off screen downed traffic light. All in all, very impressive.

I'm really diggin the brush strokes you used on this one. The lighting and stuff is awesome and the detail in the face is amazing. This is incredible.
